In 2008, Alstom joined the "Guess What?" project and had a key role in this campaign which we created to promote the design for Torino 2008 World Design Capital. Subsequently, the Company considered this concept to be so effective that they chose to use it to strenghten the link between the brand and the products. We designed the evolution of the graphic concept and “customised” it for this important customer. Fantasy was free to travel through childhood memories and the fascination and magic of the Italian landscapes. The result was a line of recreational and fun gadgets with a seductive graphic edge and an ecological spirit. There were games (interactive postcards), trains to assemble (strictly from recycled cardboard), tracks to build (railway/adhesive tape, level crossing/pencil, station/pencil case), evocative t-shirts to wear; all enclosed in an elegant case (also made from recycled cardboard).
